Hi, I’m Holly. As an urban homesteader, I'm learning one season at a time and sharing my journey every day. What began with backyard chickens and a small garden has blossomed into a passion for sustainable living and simple, intentional choices. I care for a lively backyard flock, keep bees to create products from the hive, and expand my gardens a little more each year. I believe you don’t need acres of land to embrace smart solutions that bring you closer to your food and the rhythms of the seasons—just a willingness to learn, try, fail, and try again. Around here, it’s practical, imperfect, and rooted in joy. I’m glad you’re here.

I’m committed to sharing the real, honest journey of an urban homesteader, including what’s working, what isn’t, and what I’m learning along the way. My goal is to encourage you to experiment with smart solutions and adapt your approach to sustainable living, all without needing to have it all figured out. To me, this is about progress ov
